Never to Late

Okay, It's been a week and the blogs have been rather slim. THe Bus Drivers returned from a buying trip in Atlanta over the past weekend and we went into creative "overload." Colquitt, GA will be on the map with Swamp Gravy in October and the International Mural Festival also happening in October. August is our month for revamping, redoing, and reworking our little place of creative energy so y'all visit us and see what we got coming up. Lots of surprises for everyone!!! I'm taking a little buying trip of my own tomorrow to L.A. (lower alabama that is) to visit one of my most favorite junk houses...More to follow..Stay tuned and

The Flavor of Florida's Fogotten Coast ~ Tupelo Honey.

Tupelo honey is produced from the Tupelo gum tree which grows profusely along the Chipola and Apalachicola rivers of northwest Florida. Here in the river swamps, this honey is produced in a unique fashion. Bees are placed on elevated platforms along the river's edge, from which, during April and May they fan out through the surrounding Tupelo-blossom-laden swamps and return with their precious treasure. This river valley is the only place in the world where Tupelo Honey is produced commercially.

Real Tupelo honey is light amber in color, light golden with a greenish cast. The flavor is delicious, distinctive, a choice table honey! Good white Tupelo, unmixed with other honeys, will not granulate. Due to the high levulose content and low dextrose ratio diabetic patients have been permitted by their physicians to eat Tupelo honey. Average analysis: Levulose 44.03%, dextrose 29.98%....
The Tupelo Honey we carry here at The Bus Station in Colquitt, GA is the original Tupelo Honey from the Apalachicola River in Northwest FL...Please feel free to contact us about purchasing..Our 32 Oz. retails for $16.95 plus shipping and handling....Call us at 229-758-2646. This Little Piggy Soap!

We love our little pig soaps!  The soap is cranberry goats milk glycerin soap and comes packaged in a little organdy bag.  The shabby chic soap dish is perfect for this little critter! Soap dish is $9.95 and the soap is $6.50.  It smells like sweet berries and cream.
